Your Tale (Poem)
He said you’re this, she said you’re that,
Do you really wanna pay heed to someone being a brat?
Neglect the stones, for they would keep being thrown,
Do not change for them, make the flaws your own.
Sure you have eager eyes, yet not everything you have to see,
The tale is yours to tell, yours forever it’ll be.
We all have worries, we all have fears,
Anyone can cry, but it takes something else to spawn storms from tears.
When all roads become dead ends, carve your own path to go along,
They’re saying you cannot; my dear, go prove them wrong.
Expectations from them, are the cause of your misery, shatter them and you’ll truly be free,
The tale is yours to tell, yours forever it’ll be.
